Lucion Marine is the first company to be accredited by Lloyds Register to supply Green Passports (inventory of hazardous materials) to vessels across the shipping world. Where most accredited companies are only accredited to provide green passports, we are also accredited to provide sampling and testing of a range of hazardous materials, as well as preparing advice and reports on the quantities and locations of these hazards.
Certificate Number: SOU0901604/02 Certified on: 09/12/2009
Accredited to provide:
Visual/sampling checks and testing for hazardous materials, such as asbestos, PCBd. TBTs, and CFCs on board ships, including advice on numbers and locations of samples, and preparation of reports on the quantities, locations and estimates of these materials.
Lloyd’s Register is a highly important classification society that has been working in safety for 250 years. Lucion Marine is proud to be accredited by such a well established and respected accreditation body.
With such accreditation you can rest assured that your vessel will be in safe hands as we carry out the necessary surveys to ensure your vessel has an easy access into ports as regulations over safety tighten in the coming months.
As well having Lloyds Accreditation for the visual sampling checks and analysis of hazardous materials, Lucion’s IHM’s have been internationally accepted from other classification societies such as DNV (Det Norske Veritas) and Class NK. Whilst these classification society’s do not have their own approved accredited service suppliers, they do inspect and verify documentation supplied to them by their clients. Having a Lucion IHM will give you confidence that the service you receive will recognised and accepted all over the world.
