Remediation Management

  • Bespoke hazard management solutions across any class of marine vessel (surface or submersible)
  • Asbestos Surveying, management and clearance operations
    • Identification surveys and sample analysis

    • Issuing of clearance certification and project completion reports
  • Assessment of the ship yard, the Ship Yard Facility Plan, in accordance with the 2009 Hong Kong Convention.  On site assessments, audits and compliance monitoring, including reporting on any improvements required in order to meet internationally accepted standards.
  • Production of the Ship Recycling Plan in accordance with 2011 Guidelines for the Development of the Ship Recycling Plan, adopted by resolution MEPC.196(62);
    • Using the information collated in the IHM, Lucion will build a custom SRP for any particular vessel, ensuring the safe and sound recycling of that vessel
  • CFC identification and reporting.
    • Locating CFC containing materials and incorporation into the SRP.  Advice given on removal methods and the appropriate waste disposal options
  • Added value technical consultancy during ship dismantling
    • Portable on site laboratories allow for quick material analysis and reporting, reducing delays and down time
  • Surface covering (paints and adhesives) analysis and remediation
    • Recommendations to the appropriate removal strategies and methodologies in line with SRP
